Frequently
Asked Questions
What’s the difference between a regular
O-ZONE and an O-ZONE Plus?
The inflatable bounce platform is the same between the two.
The only difference is the “Plus” product comes complete
with a slide attachment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you inflate the O-ZONE
tube?
The product comes complete with a 110V inflator/deflator.
We highly recommend only using this inflator for inflating the O-ZONE
products. This inflator will provide a reasonable high volume of air
flow for rapid inflation as well as the required pressure output to
achieve proper inflation of the tube. Other 110VAC or 12VDC inflators
used for towables usually will not have enough pressure capacity to
properly inflate the O-ZONE.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can I use an air compressor
to inflate my O-ZONE product(s)?
We strongly discourage the use of an air compressor
for inflating these products. Since the O-ZONE products are made using
plain vinyl (no fabric reinforcement), they will continue to stretch
like a balloon when more and more air is applied until a seam or another
area of high stress ruptures. Over inflation is the most common cause
of damage caused to any plain vinyl product. Since air compressors
generally operate at very high pressures, they tend to inflate too
rapidly and before you know it, you’ve damaged the tube. As
a point of reference, an O-ZONE tube should never have more than 1.5PSI
of air pressure in it for proper operation. A gauge is built into
the tube alongside the valve. When inflating, be sure to monitor this
gauge or use the height specification outlined in the owner manual
to know when the tube is fully and properly inflated.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is the tube made of?
The O-ZONE tubes are made of plain (no fabric reinforcement)
vinyl with UV inhibitors built into the chemistry of the vinyl. All
seams are high frequency welded for consistency. People with allergic
reactions to latex rubber materials should have no problems using
the O-ZONE products since no natural rubber or natural rubber latex
is used in the manufacture of these products.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there a difference in
bounce performance between the O-ZONE and Bongo products?
Yes, the Bongo will generally provide a better bounce
due to your ability to adjust the air pressure within the inflated
tube. The bounce performance difference will be most noticeable for
heavier children or adults and almost unnoticeable for smaller, lightweight
kids.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can the O-ZONE products
be left out in the water?
These products were designed specifically for lightweight
portability (day use applications, primarily) and are not meant to
be left in the water for extended periods of time. Although the product
will not be affected by long term exposure to sun or water, they are
not as durable in high use applications and are more prone to damage
in storms, high winds, etc.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you anchor the O-ZONE
(and slide if applicable)?
Since the product was primarily intended for day use
applications, it comes with a sand anchor bag. Simply fill the nylon
bag with sand and attach the adjustable length rope to the rope holder
found on the lower outer perimeter of the tube (opposite the ladder
attachment point). The slide on the O-ZONE Plus models does not need
any additional anchoring.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you transport the
O-ZONE on the land and water?
Always carry the product from land to the water. DO
NOT DRAG across the ground as this can easily damage the inflatable.
Once in the water, the product can easily be towed at slow speed or
simply swim the product into the desired position.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can the O-ZONE be used as
a land trampoline?
No. We do not recommend these products for use on
land as they are very susceptible to damage from rocks, sticks, or
other sharp objects.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How do you repair the O-ZONE
or its slide attachment?
Small puncture holes can easily be repaired by the
consumer using the repair kit supplied.
Large tears or seam ruptures, however, are very difficult to effectively
repair permanently. Call Anchor Dock and Lift at 320-274-6500 if you
have any questions or problems in this area.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you buy an O-ZONE now,
can you add a slide later on?
No. The slide is not sold as a separate item that
can be purchased and attached at a future date. If you think you want
a slide for your O-ZONE product, then you must purchase either the
O-ZONE Plus or the O-ZONE XL Plus models.
